Due to the impending winter storm forecasted for our area, the December board meeting scheduled for December 17th is cancelled. It is rescheduled for January 7th at 10am.

We’d like to extend congratulations to the candidates who won election to our Board of Directors: Robert Fenlon, Janet Foster, and Laura Massaro. Each candidate was elected to a three year term on the board.


Recently Rep. Rosemary Brown asked for support in her petition for Governor Chris Christie to reconsider making individuals who earn $35,000 or more each year pay higher income taxes to New Jersey. “Reverse the New Jersey Tax Grab!
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wants Pennsylvanians who work in New Jersey and make $35,000 or more a year to pay higher income taxes to New Jersey, under a decision he announced on Sept. 2. In response, I published a petition on www.RepBrown.com for Pennsylvanians who work in New Jersey to have their voices heard and ask Christie to reverse this decision. Starting May 16th, the Indoor Pool will be shut down for maintenance. It will re-open May 23rd for regular pool hours.

Please join in celebrating Memorial Day weekend with our annual Fishing Derby Sunday, May 29th starting at 9am. There will be fishing for children only from 9am – 11am after which it opens for all ages. Last year we had a HUGE turnout so we are hoping to make this year even better! It has been a very exciting and busy summer but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The Outdoor Pool will be officially closing on September 7, 2015. The pool will be running on a modified schedule due to limited staff and Back-to-School schedules.

Please join us for Labor Day weekend as an official GOOD BYE to summer!


The 2015/2016 Board of Directors and Ombudsman’s Election will be conducted on October 17, 2015. There will be three Directors seats and the Ombudsman’s position up for election.

The election application will be accepted until August 15, 2015 at 12noon. If you have any questions regarding the application, contact the office at (570) 588-9309.


The ski vote has been tallied for the upcoming 2015/2016 year. The owner-members voted for the continued suspension of the ski operations for Winona Lakes POA. Click here for the official results from our auditor.
